Learn to Knit: Scarf or Hat
Take your pick of these two great beginner projects and whip them up in your favorite colors. You’ll learn lots of knitting basics, and have something cute to wear at the end. We believe this class will have you hooked!

Learn to Crochet
This class will cover basic stitches and granny squares. After some practice swatches, you will begin a darling granny square scarf. So colorful and fun!

Basket Weaving Classes
Terri McKenna continues her wonderful series of basket weaving classes: March’s class is on Saturday, the 10th 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.. The cost is $40, which includes materials.

A series of workshops to enhance your skills.We received an amazing book this fall called Knit Noro Accessories. It is chock-full of beautiful projects, many of which use an unusual, or slightly more advanced technique. We thought it would be the basis for a great workshop series:
Saturday afternoons from 1 – 4 p.m. New topic each time Each workshop is $10, or $5 with purchase of Knit Noro Accessories. Just learn the skill, or begin the project. Attend any or all workshops. You choose!

Jan. 14: Cable & Rib stitch (suitable for beginners) from the Autumn Sampler Tote.
Jan 21: Lattice Cable, also from the Autumn Sampler Tote.
Feb. 4: Easy Lace pattern (suitable for beginners) from the Long Lace Scarf.
Feb. 11: Slip Stitch pattern, from the Slip Stitch Cowl.
Feb. 18: Waffle Stitch pattern, from the Braided Headband.
Feb. 25: Intarsia Lace, combining easy lace with colorwork, from the Intarsia Lace Scarf.
March 3: Brioche stitch, from Brioche Scarf.
March 10: Entrelac, (several entrelac patterns in book, including iPad Cover and small Felted Bag.)
