The first downtown Art Walk on June 8th happened to coincide with the start of World Wide Knit in Public Week, and a group of knitters took full advantage of the warm – yet breezy – evening for a public display of knitting in front of The Yarn Shop!
Lots of curious Art Walkers stopped to watch, but we were most impressed by the gentleman that recognized that one “knitter” was actually crocheting. Just because it was officially Knit in Public Week didn’t stop us from celebrating all forms of fiber art!
Inside, we had a fabulous display of knit (and crochet) hats, produced by our customers and staff.
It was a very fun evening, and lots of new folks browsed the shop while munching on homemade cookies and sipping iced tea. We look forward to the next Art Walk in July – another opportunity to share our love for fiber with Bozeman.
