History of The Yarn Shop

The Yarn Shop originally opened in 1998. Shona Smith was the owner. In 2003, Bozeman native Barbara French returned and joined Shona as partner. The Yarn Shop found a new location and became The Yarn Shop and Fiber Place, expanding beyond knitting supplies to included weaving, spinning and rug hooking materials.
