June Artwalk
Friday evening, June 12, 6-8 p.m.

Come downtown this Friday evening for the first Artwalk of the season!  The Bozeman Weavers Guild will be presenting some of their latest work made for  the recent conference in Spokane.  The display is  entitled "Montana River Waves", as the conference theme was "waves of color."  The Guild chose the colors blue, green and purple as representative of Montana's rivers and all wove in an undulating twill pattern to simulate the waves.  Please come and see the beautiful and inspiring results!

Total Immersion Fiber Day is finally coming!

At last, with a little cooperation from Mother Nature,  we are rescheduling our Fiber Day for Saturday, June 20, beginning at 10:00.  We will wash fleece, dye with some natural dyes, card or comb it and spin it into yarn.  No matter what your level of expertise, come prepared to enjoy a day playing with wool.  (Supplies will be available for purchase at the various "stations.") Please call the Shop for more info and directions to the Fellerhoff-White farm.  585-8335

Something for everyone... Sign up now!

Spin, Weave, Dye
We're starting a new group with a focus on spinning, weaving and dyeing.   Come meet with us each Wed. evening from 6 till 8 to play with fiber and inspire each other! This summer we will focus on improving our spinning skills and repertoire by working through Judith Mackenzie McCuin's new book:  The Intentional Spinner.  If you've been wanting to bump your spinning up a notch, please join us!

Classes for Kids: knitting and weaving Keep those hands busy and productive this summer!  We are offering knitting and weaving classes for kids 8-12 years old during  the week of July 6. $35 per child, includes materials.
Learn to Knit:  meets each morning from 9:30 till 10:30.  We will knit a small pouch.
Learn to Weave:  meets each morning from 11 till 12.  Using a box as a loom, we'll weave a colorful bag.
